25 Sep first day of autumn

In case you didn’t know, the first official day of fall was a couple of days ago, Tuesday, September 23rd. From where we are, we have been soaking in the warm rays of summer’s last hurrahs and watching bright, zesty colors dot the mountainside. Just last weekend, we took a short hike up the canyons in the crisp morning air along a winding path among Quaking Aspens and Engelmann Spruces. The dirt path was padded with layers of brightly, speckled leaves. It was a beautiful sight to see. We’d highly recommend you take an early morning or late afternoon and try it out for yourselves.
