We don’t think ourselves as tree huggers (although we must admit we’d tried putting our arms around giant Redwoods on our last road trip to the Northwest), or hipsters even (we can’t vouch the same for our teenage girls), but we have always practice the idea of reuse and recycle. It’s not that it’s the cool thing to do but rather it’s the right thing to do. It’s a personal view instilled to us from our parents, from our own belief that less is more. So it’s only natural when we found ourselves with a dozen or so wooden pallets left over from delivery trucks that we’d try to incorporate them somehow into the space. While the idea of reuse is nothing short of new, we wanted it to be fresh and beautiful.
